Shateera, Queen with the Sonic Staff - Original Graphite Drawing, 5×7

Meet Shateera, a powerful queen whose grace, wisdom, and kindness guide her queendom through the changing seasons.

Within Mosaic Souls World, she rules a futuristic city that flourishes in harmony with nature. Sculptural towers rise alongside ancient trees, and the rhythms of the earth remain woven into everyday life.

Shateera’s magic lives within her. Her sonic staff helps her direct it with precision, sending vibrations through the world to lift objects, move earth, and gently shape the land.

During autumn, she uses these gifts to prepare her queendom for winter. Fallen branches are cleared, pathways strengthened, and heavy materials moved into place. Leaves rise and turn around her staff as she works, easing the seasonal labor so her people have time to rest.

A fair and compassionate ruler, Shateera understands that power carries a responsibility to care for others. Her strength creates space for her people to live well.

Created for Day 16 of my Drawing Magical Black Women challenge, this original graphite drawing brings together autumn’s textures, futuristic architecture, and the quiet confidence of a queen devoted to her people.
